Overview
The Sun Centre is open almost year-round for those
wishing to spend flexible time here, be it a long weekend, a week,
or more. Whether you wish a solitary retreat, or a family/group
experience, we will be here to support you.
Price includes accommodation (twin or single room,
depending on availability; camping available for reduced rate) plus
3 full meals per day, all prepared with Ayurvedic principles in
mind. Any additional activities (see below) will be charged separately.
During your stay, you will be able to make use of
our various workspaces
and gardens
& grounds - ideal for reading, studying, playing music,
yoga, meditation etc.
Yoga & Ayurveda
Daily yoga classes, mantra chanting sessions, meditation,
guided relaxation and Ayurvedic nutrition consultations are available.
Other optional extras include massage, reflexology, Qi-gong classes
and various other treatments & activities.
Fun activities
Regular fun activities like swimming / picnics by
the river, music-making sessions, story telling, group sharing,
art & craft days, trips to local markets, pony-club outings,
etc are a regular part of our life here. You are welcome to join
in.
Additional information
You may prefer to bring your own yoga mat, though
we do have our own stock. Also, please feel free to bring along
any musical instruments for occasional evening group gatherings.You may also wish to bring walking shoes, and some wet/cold
weather gear (although last year we had a dry autumn/winter).
Additional Activities
Spare time can also be spent in a variety of ways, including
complimentary therapy treatments (massage, reflexology,
Ayurvedic nutrition consultation, craniosacral therapy, one-to-one yoga tuition,
life counselling), hiking, river bathing, picnics, outings to local markets,
or simply relaxing in our beautiful gardens & grounds.
What to bring
You may prefer to bring your own yoga mat, though we do have
our own stock. Also, please feel free to bring along any musical instruments
for evening group gatherings.You may also wish to bring walking shoes,
swimming clothes, sun cream etc. We get the occasional thunderstorm, which is
always exciting (providing you have packed your mac!). Insect repellent is a
good idea, although we never use it ourselves. Finally, do
not forget to bring a torch, and spare batteries!
Travel

advice page. Note, it is up to you to arrange your own travel insurance.

Nimes or Montpellier) for which we often arrange a taxi transfer to the retreat.
